How do our water filters work?
Our tap filters remove over 100 substances from tap water, retaining nanoparticles by adsorption and organic particles as small as 1–2 microns in the carbon block. They also preserve essential water minerals (do not reduce TDS). Here's the science behind our advanced 5-stage nanofiltration technology:

EcoPro and EcoPro Compact feature advanced nanofiltration technology
1 - Polypropylene mesh
Wrapped around the carbon block, it filters larger microorganisms, sediments, rust, scale, and other impurities. It also prevents hands from coming into contact with the carbon block, preventing its contamination during replacement.
2- Adsorption by activated carbon
Activated carbon made from coconut shells removes chemical organic matter at the nanoparticle level, including chlorine, chlorine by-products (VOCs, THMs, HAAs, etc.), tastes, odors, pesticides, herbicides, PFAs, and over 80 other contaminants. It also reduces the amount of heavy metals such as lead, copper, and mercury, among others.
3- Carbon block microfiltration
The carbon block retains particles larger than 1–2 microns. This prevents microplastics, suspended particles, and most bacteria from passing through the filter. It also prevents rust particles and bacteria accumulated in water pipes from entering the filter.
4- Removes limescale and heavy metals
The carbon block contains our patented formula, the result of many years of research and of which we are very proud. This formula breaks down minerals to prevent limescale formation and also retains any remaining heavy metals.
5- Sieve
Filters hair, sand, dirt, and other common impurities found in household water pipes.
The BottlePro filtration process was developed with advanced 4-stage microfiltration technology. The optional BottlePro Ahlstrom filter, originally developed for NASA, is available for 99.99% bacteria removal.
